About the club

A handful of small browser games, each with one daily puzzle that is the same for everybody.

Short version: Little Games Club is made by one person, Dicksen, in Indonesia. The games are free, there are no accounts and no downloads, and your streaks live in your own browser rather than on a server.

What this is

Little Games Club is a small collection of browser games. Each one is built around a single idea that fits inside a coffee break: type fast enough to stop a bomb, checkmate a king on a four-by-four board, slot falling blocks into the right order, or link two unrelated things with a chain of words.

Every game has an Endless mode you can play as long as you like, and a Daily puzzle. The Daily is the part that makes it a club rather than four separate games. Everyone who opens the site on the same day gets exactly the same puzzle — the same bomb, the same board, the same tower, the same pair of words. You can compare your result with a friend's without either of you having an account, because you were both solving the same thing.

Each game has a full guide: how to play Type to Defuse, how to play Pocket Mate, how to play Stack Rank and how to play Connecthing.

What it deliberately does not do

There is no sign-up, no email address to hand over, no app to install and no push notification asking you to come back. The whole thing runs in the browser tab, including on a phone, and each game is a single page that loads once.

The club does count anonymous plays, so it can tell which puzzles are too hard and which are broken. That is described in full on the privacy page — it is a handful of counters, not profiles, and there is a random ID in your browser so returning players can be counted without knowing who they are. Feedback boxes at the end of each game go to a private inbox that only Dicksen reads.

How it is built

Every game is a single HTML file with no external libraries, no image files, and artwork drawn as inline SVG. The site is served from Cloudflare, which is also where the anonymous counters live. The puzzles themselves are prepared ahead of time and checked by hand before their day arrives — for example the ranking themes in Stack Rank are fact-checked and sourced, and every Connecthing daily is read through to make sure each link between two words is a link a normal person would accept.

If a puzzle is ever wrong, the fastest way to get it fixed is the feedback box on the game's end screen, or the address on the contact page.

How it is paid for

The games are free and stay free. Running costs are small and covered by the support links in the games and by advertising on the site; the full list of what is allowed to sell ads here is in ads.txt. There is no paywalled daily and no paid advantage — if that ever changed, it would be announced on this page first.
